Are phone calls directed to a central call office?

No, Surface Solutions (East Anglia) Ltd control a tight team to effectively deal with your enquiries and react to emergency repairs, we offer a unique personal service and look to actively seek a professional working relationship with all our clients


How do i get a quote?

Please use the contact page where you can find our email, and contact details where we will be happy to help deal with your request. We are also happy to offer a free site survey to efficiently advise on the best solution available.


What does a survey involve?

Upon your initial enquiry you shall be assigned a personal Project Manager who will be your main point of contact, as part of our experienced team, a visit to your premises will be arranged at a time which is most suitable for you.

Once on-site the survey shall be carried out based on the information provided, in conjunction with your site H&S policy, and we aim to keep interruptions to work activities to a minimum.

During a site survey we actively encourage communication between site managers and your personal project manager to ensure that all factors have been considered, these include safety concerns and minimising downtime.


We already have a trusted contractor, could you work alongside them?

We pride ourselves on being as flexible and approachable as possible, we are always happy to work alongside, or part of a bigger management project.


I have a query that's not listed on your site?

That's great, we'd love to hear from you. We have experience in many areas of industrial maintenance, but if it's outside of our wide sphere of knowledge, we would happily put you in contact with someone who can be of help rather than us misguide you.


How will you adhere to our site regulations?

Surface Solutions (East Anglia) Ltd takes pride in having an immaculate safety record.

Our personnel are trained and qualified to ensure work is carried out to an approved method statement and risk assessment as identified.

The construction (Design and Management) regulations (CDM) are the main set of regulations for managing Health, Safety and Welfare of construction projects. We will supply a written construction phase plan for projects. This ensures on-site workers have the correct skills, knowledge, training and experience.

For projects involving more than one contractor, a principal designer is appointed and we will issue a Health & Safety file for the project.


How are our staff kept safe while you are on-site?

We are able to restrict access thanks to the safety equipment we have access to, this includes barriers to entry, signage for staff, and ensure, where possible, that any routes blocked during scheduled work have an alternative clearly defined.


What specific skill/safety regulations do you have?

Our staff have fully up to date, and valid, CSCS cards registered with the Construction Industry Training Board.

Individuals are also trained in Asbestos awareness, First Aid, PASMA, MEWP and Abrasive Wheels certifications. Full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is also provided by ourselves based on the suitability of each site visit.

We are also Silver Level Constructionline Members, helping us to connect to clients and abide by the recommendations outlined.


What regions do you serve?

We are predominately based in the East Anglian region where we can be most responsive to our customer needs, we are however happy to undertake projects reaching further afield upon request.


Do you project manage yourselves?

All projects, staff, safety/access certifications, tools and equipment is managed by our dedicated team and therefore scheduled in and out of site in a timely manner.

We do not have a parent company/main contactor above us, which provides an efficient and very straight forward solution to our customers. This minimises confusion and keeps us competitive on pricing.


Do you have examples of previous work?

We are happy to supply examples of previous work on request, if they are not already available via the website.

We may also request from yourselves if we have permission to photograph our finished work, as we appreciate certain areas of operation can be sensitive.


Can you work to a fixed price?

Yes, we will quote for any works in a method which best suits your requirements.


How would you minimise downtime at our site?

We do our utmost to ensure that downtime is kept to a minimum, we regularly schedule works 'out of hours', this includes focused weekend projects where we carry out the work, and make use of quick drying solutions (If applicable) so that work can resume on the Monday.


How do we contact you in the case of an emergency?

If it is an existing project which we are involved in then we will provide mobile numbers for our supervisor/management dealing with the project. If you are a new customer then please visit our contact page where emergency contact numbers can be obtained.
We will do our utmost to respond to emergency requests.
