Eroded chemical contaminated manhole. Proximity to very old buildings prevented excavation in order to replace.
Our provided solution
Over pumping was installed, and manhole blasted to ensure that a sound surface was evident which was subsequently cleaned prior to further refurbishment.
Manhole was re-faced, benching was re-built and the fitting of a brand new cover slab and lining with thermosetting plastic coating.
We ensured that minimum disruption was caused and manhole was back online within a 2 day period.
